Before the race
How do I find out?
You can drive or cycle to TUIL Arena in Tromsdalen.
Parking at entrance A or Elvestrand cemetery.
You can also take the bus, then you get off at Kraftforsyninga or Båthavna. Please note that the buses run different routes at different times, so use Svipper to find the right bus.
The actual starting area will be at entrance F, by the first parking lot.
If you pick up your start number on Thursday or Friday, you must use entrance A (the main entrance). There you will find our office on the 2nd floor. Feel free to stop by!

Enjoy a good cup of coffee in warm surroundings, fill your plate as many times as you want, and recharge your batteries before lacing up your running shoes and getting ready to start!

Start number
Everyone must pick up their start number well in advance of the race start.
This can be picked up at TUIL Arena:
Thursday, October 1st, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Entrance A, 2nd floor)
Friday, October 2nd at 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Entrance A, 2nd floor)
Saturday, October 3rd at 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM (Entrance A, football hall)
Resale of starting places is permitted, provided that the place is sold at the original purchase price. Send an email to info@msm.no with information about both the seller and the buyer, including the buyer's personal details.
During the race
Rules
Participants run one lap every hour, starting the first lap on Saturday at 09:00.
When the starting signal goes off, you must be in the marked starting area. This applies every hour. If you miss the start, you are out.
The first woman and man to finish on lap 24 wins the race.
Age limit: 18 years
Trail
The start/finish will be outside TUIL Arena in Tromsdalen. The race will mostly be on gravel roads in the Tromsdalen trail network, as well as some on asphalt.
Service offers during the race
Food and drink
Food and drinks are included in the entry fee. There will be a food and drink station available throughout the race, including bread slices and a selection of toppings.
Hot food is served both during the day and in the evening. At 2:30 pm, soup with focaccia will be served, and throughout the evening, Real tour food will be served.
We will provide water, coffee and Maxim orange-flavored sports drink throughout the competition. We encourage all participants to bring their own cup or bottle for drinking.
Of course, there will also be some snacks and other goodies along the way – because here it should be possible to keep your energy up, round after round!

Arena, rest and facilities
The football hall at TUIL Arena will be the gathering point throughout the race. Rest, breaks and food will be served inside the football hall, which is open to both participants, spectators and supporters.
All participants will be given space, so we ask that everyone be considerate of each other and make good use of the space.
The hall is not furnished, so all participants must bring their own equipment, such as a chair, sleeping mat, blanket or similar.
There are toilets inside the TUIL arena, as well as good toilet facilities and changing rooms right outside entrance A/main entrance.
Safety is important, and the Red Cross will have a guard post in the start/finish area.

Equipment
Mandatory equipment:
- Headlamp – required from round 11 (Remember charger/extra battery)
- Reflex – required from round 11 (Can be borrowed from the organizer)
Recommended equipment:
- Extra running shoes
- Extra socks and a change of clothes. Preferably both warm and dry clothes.
- Jacket/windproof outer layer, hat, gloves
- Shower towel
- Power bank/charger (there are limited sockets)
- Drinking bottle/cup
- Chair, sleeping pad or other comfort equipment of your choice
- Any food and nutrition that you know works for you
After the race
Prizes
As is tradition, we have participant medals for everyone who starts.
The winner of the race is the first to finish on lap 24. A winner will be chosen in both the women's and men's classes.
We have sprint prizes after rounds 4 and 8, as well as prizes for the first finisher after round 12.
There will also be prizes drawn for different starting numbers.
