By completing your order, you accept the following conditions

Personal data

MSM focuses on handling personal data in an encrypted and secure manner. MSM does not sell, exchange or pass on personal data to third parties. When you shop with us, we store your name and email address, among other things. This is information we need to contact you in connection with your order. Card numbers are not stored by MSM and all card transactions take place externally with an authorized payment service provider (Nets).

Cookies/information cookies

MSM always wants to give you the best experience before, during and after a purchase. In short, the use of cookies is a tool to optimize the user experience on msm.no

We collect and store log data from external providers (Google Analytics, etc.) on, for example, which posts, pages or products are searched for and viewed.

Conditions for purchase

Your order is binding and non-refundable after purchase. For Registration to one of our race events, the following applies in addition

Binding Registration

Registration for the event is binding and paid entry fees are non-refundable. A one-time license to the Norwegian Athletics Federation is included in the registration fee.

According to our general terms and conditions, which everyone must accept at Registration, paid initial Entry fees are non-refundable.

If you are unable to participate due to illness/injury confirmed by a medical certificate, you can send us an email at info@msm.no within one week of the race. We will then transfer your Registration to next year's race for an administration fee of NOK 100. 100,- which must be paid within one week after the race day.

Force majeure / Cancellation

The organizer may cancel the race at short notice due to force majeure. If the event is canceled due to force majeure, the entry fee or additional bookings will not be refunded. The organizer is not responsible for any costs incurred by the participant in connection with the event if the race has to be canceled due to force majeure

Personal data

In order to deliver high quality result lists and to offer you as a participant the best possible service, we need to store some information about you in our database. The same information will also be stored in the database of our event and timing system supplier, EQ Timing. In addition to your name and club affiliation, we need to store your gender and date of birth to ensure that you are in the correct age group on the results lists. Contact information such as address, mobile phone number and email address is necessary in order to send you registration confirmation and participation certificate, information about start number and start time and other relevant information about the event.

The foundation Midnight Sun Marathon and EQ Timing will have access to the contact information necessary to send you information related to the event, in order to provide you
with the best possible service. Your name, club affiliation and age group will be published in result lists and participant lists. Your results may be used for seeding in other events in which you participate.

Conditions for Explo Ekstremstafetten

Class classification

• Ladies
• Men's
• Mix

Participating teams do not need to be affiliated with NIF. Examples of teams can be sports teams, companies, charities, neighborhoods, groups of friends, school classes, student associations, etc.

A mixed team must have at least one runner of each gender.

A runner cannot represent more than one team or run more than one stage.

A runner who has run the explo extreme race individually can run one leg of the relay.

The lower age limit for runners is 12 years. The age limit is absolute and cannot be waived.

Runners must run in the marked route. In the Sherpa staircase, runners must run in the stone staircase and not next to it. Deviations from this will lead to disqualification.

All changes must be made within the marked changeover field, which is 20 meters.
Changeover judges will be watching, and changes outside the marked field will lead to disqualification.

Complete team line-up with names of all runners must be received by the organizer by 23 August 2024. Use the spreadsheet available on the organizer's website.

Photos

Photos may be taken of you during the event. By registering, you agree that these photos may be used by the Midnight Sun Marathon Foundation for marketing purposes, or posted on the event's website, social media and results lists during and after the event.
