Personal data

MSM focuses on handling personal data in an encrypted and secure manner. MSM does not sell, exchange or pass on personal data to third parties. When you shop with us, we store your name and email address, among other things. This is information we need to contact you in connection with your order. Card numbers are not stored by MSM and all card transactions take place externally with an authorized payment service provider (Nets).

Cookies/information cookies

MSM always wants to give you the best experience before, during and after a purchase. In short, the use of cookies is a tool to optimize the user experience on msm.no

We collect and store log data from external providers (Google Analytics, etc.) on, for example, which posts, pages or products are searched for and viewed.

Conditions for purchase

Your order is binding and non-refundable after purchase.

Binding Registration

Registration for our events is binding, and the entry fee paid is non-refundable. A one-time license to the Norwegian Athletics Federation is included in the registration fee.

It is not permitted to participate with a starting number other than your own.

If you cannot participate due to illness/injury confirmed by a medical certificate, you can transfer your registration to the following year. The transfer fee of NOK 150,- must be paid by 12:00 the day before the race. Medical certificates can be sent to info@msm.no up to 1 week after the race.

Force majeure / Cancellation

The organizer may cancel the race at short notice due to force majeure. If the event is canceled due to force majeure, the entry fee or additional bookings will not be refunded. The organizer is not responsible for any costs incurred by the participant in connection with the event if the race has to be canceled due to force majeure

Personal data

In order to deliver high quality result lists and to offer you as a participant the best possible service, we need to store some information about you in our database. The same information will also be stored in the database of our event and timing system supplier, EQ Timing. In addition to your name and club affiliation, we need to store your gender and date of birth to ensure that you are in the correct age group on the results lists. Contact information such as address, mobile phone number and email address is necessary in order to send you registration confirmation and participation certificate, information about start number and start time and other relevant information about the event.

The Midnight Sun Marathon Foundation and EQ Timing will access the contact information necessary to send you information related to the event, to provide you with
the best possible service. Your name, club affiliation and age group will be published in the results and participant lists. Your results may be used for seeding in other events where you participate.

Photos

Photos of you may be taken during the event. By registering, you agree that these photos may be used by The Midnight Sun Marathon Foundation in marketing, or posted on the event's websites, social media and results lists during and after the event.
