The main fabric is microfiber with a combed mesh lining on the inside. The side panels are in a Lycra material, specially adapted for winter, with a brushed inside for extra good mobility. The vest has side pockets with YKK zippers. The YKK front zipper has a chin guard on top and a flap on the back to protect against chafing and the elements. The vest can be easily tightened with an elastic at the bottom of each side with one hand.
The vest has a normal fit, which means it should sit looser on the body and not feel restrictive in any way.
