Explo Extreme Race - 2025

Welcome to a real acid party!

The Explo Ekstremløpet is an uphill race for both high-level competitive runners and exercisers. The distance is also a public march for exercisers, families and businesses. Start at TUIL Arena in Tromsdalen. The course runs for a while on asphalt, before the course turns up towards lilleaksla and you run up the popular Sherpa staircase. The staircase was completed in 2019 and has 1203 steps, and is one of the longest staircases in Norway built by the Sherpas from Nepal.
